What are Short Kits?

Basically, a short kit consists of the things you wouldn't want to cut by hand, for example formers, ribs, and other parts that are usually curved and that you’d prefer not to cut out! So, by letting us cut these difficult parts for you, you can be assured that your construction time will be reduced and model quality increased - all at a low price! Our range of short kits will be continuously expanding, so keep an eye out for future releases! Our short kits also include pre-made motor mounts, and most kits come with vacuum-formed canopies. Absolutely fantastic, they will save you so much time and energy.

What is a profile jet?

A profile jet is essentially the basic 2 dimensional shape of a jet which can be slotted together and made into a flying model aircraft. They use a similar concept to those polystyrene planes that most of us built at some time in our childhoods. The main differences are that they are made from wood, and they use the extremely popular Aerographics Rapier engines. Our kits are cut on a CNC machine, giving the parts a highly accurate finish. They come with everything you need to fly them, except the engines, which you can also order from us if required.

Can I order a kit of my own design to be cut?

Yes, absolutely - we offer a range of custom services, details of which will be appearing on this website shortly. Included in these services will be the opportunity for you to ask that a kit be cut out to your requirements. For example, you supply the plans, and providing that they can be cut on our machine, we'll come up with a quote for you and, if you approve, we will cut if out for you. We have had a great response from people who are very grateful that the service we offer means that they haven't got to cut all the parts out by hand!
